April Fools' Day Projects
Whether it's buttered doorknobs, colored milk, rubber fish in the toilet or fake windshield cracks, April Fool's Day is a great way to have some harmless laughs. But beware, you are sure to face some revenge! See what happens when you substitute a scoop of vanilla ice cream next to the meatloaf instead of the mashed potatoes. Don't forget the butterscotch topping…err…gravy! Who could forget the time Burger King introduced the "left-handed whopper for the 32-million left-handed Americans"? (And thousands of customers came in asking for it!) Or when Taco Bell claimed that they had bought the Liberty Bell and would rename it The Taco Liberty. The White House was even dragged into that one and claimed that if that was the case they should let America know that the Lincoln Memorial had also been sold and was now the Ford Lincoln Mercury Memorial!
Although it's sad that we only have one day officially devoted to foolery…let's be thankful we at least have that! They say "laughter is the best medicine," and if that's so then it's time to resurrect April Fool's Day and bring it back to its rightful place as the top FUN holiday of the year. It's a public service!

FUN at Work
Computer Monitor Malfunction: Dim the brightness control on everyone's monitor. Watch, listen and laugh as your colleagues run around screaming for the I.T. guy!
FUN at Home
It's a simple one but it never fails. Just set the clocks an hour or two early while the kids are asleep. The next morning, be prepared for a drowsy, cranky family…but one that now has extra time to help around the house before school!
Restaurant Ribaldry
Bring some white tic tacs to dinner and place in your mouth. When the waiter asks, "How was everything?" just open your mouth, let the tic tacs fall out and say, "Well, the steak was a little tough."
Car Crazy
If someone you know always leaves their car unlocked for the evening, just let yourself in, turn up the radio, turn on the wipers, flip on the blinkers and then enjoy the madness when the driver gets in the next morning!
For the News Junkie
Drive em wild by replacing the inside of the day's paper with yesterday's paper. Watch them try to figure out how the Red Sox won by identical scores two days in a row…with the same pitcher!
Gamblin' Fool
Videotape the lottery number drawing from the night before April Fool's Day. Go out that day and buy a ticket for those numbers. When no one is looking, slip the tape in and scream hallelujah! When everyone asks you for money, you'll know who your true friends are!
