Halloween Treat Bags

Dress-up your Halloween favor bags this year with FUN "clips" that are easy to make and great for children’s parties and trick-or-treaters! You can make FUN clips -modeled after a spider, a bat, a cat and a pumpkin are fun for kids to make (with the help of an adult), or you can create them ahead of time and hand them out as favors. Get creative and come up with some of your own fun ways to decorate your treat bags! You can make these for other holidays too!

Steps:

For some FUN Halloween shapes to glue on your clothespins, view and print this PDF and use these shapes as templates.

Cut out the templates and trace them onto colored paper plates.

Cut out cat, bat, ghost and pumpkin shapes that you have traced onto the colored plates.

Decorate your shapes with google eyes, ribbon and any other decorations you can think of.

Glue them to your clothespin.

Let the glue dry

Clip them to your goody filled Halloween favor bags.

Alternative Instructions:

To vary your fun clips, you can affix tiny toys, such as skeleton clackers and spider rings to your clothespins. Spider rings can be slipped onto the end of the clothespin and skeleton clackers can be affixed using a pipe cleaner.

Spiders can be made by making pipe cleaner legs, then attaching them to the clothespin, by wrapping a pipe cleaner around the clothespin and the legs to secure the legs to the clothespin. Glue black pom poms to the clothespin, over the legs, to create your spider’s body. Then add google eyes!
